The one green smoothie recipe you’ll love

A few years ago I discovered this amazingly delicious and simple green smoothie recipe.  It’s packed with so many nutrients!  I drank it every day for a few months and my body felt more and more vibrant.  Now I still drink this smoothie at least 4-5 times a week.

And the best part about the recipe is you can customize it to your liking.

Main ingredients:

  • 2-3 stems of kale
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 – 1 1/2 cup almond or soy milk
  • 1 tbsp of flax seed mill (red mill flax seed meal is what I use)
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 tbsp of wheat grass juice
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of ground ginger
  • dash of nutmeg

Other ingredients:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 kiwi
  • blackberries
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • rasberries
  • pineapple

All you have to do is mix the ingredients together in a blender (I use a Vitamix).  The other ingredients are some suggested ingredients to add to the main ingredients.  I always just buy the main ingredients then see what other fruits are in season.
