What to do when you feel lost

2013 - What to do when you feel lost

First of all, Happy 4th of July if you’re in the US!

Today is a great day to celebrate freedom, equality and love for all!

However, sometimes, even though many of us have the basic rights of freedom, we don’t always feel free inside.

I remember when I was working at Nestle and I wanted to leave.  I didn’t know what to do.  Coming from a traditional Asian family, I was supposed to be a corporate superstar.  But internally, that wasn’t who I wanted to be.  You could say I had an identity crisis.  And I was unhappy, lost, and confused! I felt confined and trapped!

You might have similar situations in your life where your mind and body are in conflict and as a result you feel a little lost.

What I didn’t know at the time was that this is completely normal to have this feeling.
I thought I was the black sheep and that everyone had their life together except for me.  I felt so alone.

I tried hard to wish the feelings away.  I just wanted to be “normal”.

But couldn’t.  Try as I might, the feeling didn’t go away.

As it turned out, it wouldn’t go away until I could resolve it.

But how?

The thing is when we are feeling lost and confused it’s usually because our minds and body are not in alignment.  Our conscious mind and our subconscious minds are telling us to different things.  And as a result, we don’t know how to act.  And we stay paralyzed.

This feeling is actually a blessing.  Because it’s an opportunity to choose what you really want.

So in this week’s episode of Simple Tips to bring JOY to your Life & Business, I show you an easy way for you to resolve the feeling of being lost and confused.
